Brahmacharya, traditionally regarded as celibacy, is currently translated to 'right' use or channeling of energy. The inquiry of this Classic Flows invites us to explore brahmacharya as an opportunity to reclaim our energy and the Self. How do we consume the practice? How do we consume and contribute to the dominant cultures around us? What do we need to release and invite in to grow closer to ourselves and embody liberation? In this class, yoga asana will create space along the outer seams (sides) of the body, while strengthening the legs and core cylinder in preparation for Revolved Half-Moon Pose (Parivrtta Ardha Chandrasana).
