Our Story
House of Flow began with a shared belief: that yoga, meditation, and wellness have the power to connect us, heal us, and inspire growth—no matter where we are in life. For us, this belief is deeply personal.
We first met on the mat at a yoga studio, where a shared love for the practice blossomed into a lifelong partnership. Yoga became the foundation of our lives together—it was there when we got engaged, and it became our refuge during life’s most challenging times.
Before the pandemic, we poured our passion into a project that would define our commitment to inclusivity and community. In just three months, we captured over 108+ images for My Yoga. My City., a photography book celebrating the diversity of yoga practitioners and the vibrant spirit of New York City. The project became a powerful reminder that yoga is for everyone—every background, every story, every body. It was a love letter to the resilience and beauty of our community, a message that would carry us through the difficult days to come.
When the pandemic turned the world upside down, like so many others, we found ourselves at a crossroads.
It was yoga’s lessons of resilience, adaptability, and courage that carried us forward. We moved to Arizona to rebuild, finding an incredible community that embraced us and reignited our passion for creating spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.
While in Arizona, we began laying the groundwork for our first major endeavor, originally known simply as House of Flow. It started as an idea for a digital platform that could bring yoga, meditation, and wellness into homes across the world. As the vision grew, we realized it wasn’t just about building a platform—it was about creating something even bigger. Digital Flows became our way of reimagining how families, adults, and children could access wellness anytime, anywhere.
But we soon realized that to truly bring our dreams to life, we needed to return to the greatest city in the world. With a renewed vision, we came back to Brooklyn to build House of Flow as it exists today—a place where families connect, children find joy in learning, and adults rediscover themselves through movement and mindfulness.
We’d be lying if we said this journey has been easy.
The ups and downs of building a business from the ground up have challenged us in ways we never imagined. But those challenges have only strengthened our commitment to showing that yoga is not about how many followers you have on social media or the advanced poses you can achieve. It’s about healing, connection, and the understanding that so many people are suffering in silence, unsure of where to turn.
At House of Flow, we are here to offer a space where everyone—adults, families, and children—feels seen, supported, and empowered to live with intention.
This is our story, and it’s only just beginning. We’re honored to have you be a part of it.
