We are proud to host our retreat at the beautiful Maria’s Beach, one of Puerto Rico’s most iconic and historically rich destinations. Located in Rincón — the surf capital of the island — Maria’s Beach first became famous as the site of the 1968 World Surfing Championship, the first time a surfing event was broadcast on national television. Over time, the beach earned its beloved name from Maria Garcia, a local woman whose kindness and hospitality made a lasting impression on the surfing community. Her legacy of warmth lives on at the property today.
The retreat center is a private, family-owned, 8-bedroom oceanfront villa nestled directly along the shores of Maria’s Beach. Designed to honor Maria and her family’s story, the villa offers two full kitchens, expansive dining spaces, oceanfront decks, a swimming pool, hot tubs, and a private pathway to the sand. The home is divided into two wings, each reflecting the spirit of Maria and her son Ramon — blending history, character, and comfort into every corner. Throughout the property, you’ll find photos, memorabilia, and design touches that celebrate the generations who lived, loved, and gathered here.
During our retreat, you will have time to reconnect — both on and off the mat. In addition to our yoga practices, you’ll have full access to the property’s amenities, including the pool, hot tubs, outdoor decks, and peaceful garden spaces. The ocean is just steps away, offering opportunities to surf, swim, snorkel, or simply relax under the Caribbean sun. Light daily housekeeping and a concierge team will help make your stay easy and enjoyable.
Outside of the villa, the vibrant town of Rincón invites exploration. From fresh local dining and Criollo cuisine, to paddleboarding, diving excursions, and sunset walks along the coast, there’s no shortage of adventure and culture to experience. Everything you need is within minutes of the retreat property — yet Maria’s remains a private, peaceful refuge where you can truly unwind.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at the time of booking.
You will receive a final invoice for the remaining balance, which will be due on August 3, 2025, three months before the retreat. Please note that a one-time $50 transaction fee for credit card processing will be included
