Join Erica and Will on an unforgettable 7-day yoga retreat at the stunning Lago de Atitlán, a volcanic lake in the Western Highlands of Guatemala, from February 4-10, 2024. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of rainforests and volcanoes, this place is truly awe-inspiring. 

We'll be staying at Isla Verde, a beautiful boutique hotel nestled on the lake's shore and in the lush mountains. You'll feel right at home with a yoga shala and jacuzzi overlooking the lake and a lakeside restaurant and bar serving delicious, local, and organic food and drinks. 

Guatemala is known as the Land of the Eternal Spring, famous for its ancient Mayan ruins, hand-woven textiles and embroidery, hiking active volcanoes, friendly locals, and affordable prices. During the retreat, we'll practice yoga twice daily, including meditation and pranayama, and participate in a workshop to deepen our practice and create a sense of community with like-minded people. 

There will be many exciting excursions, including hiking, swimming, kayaking, cliff jumping, and shopping. Come to explore a new place, have fun, reconnect with your body and mind through yoga, and leave with new friends.

LODGING ACCOMODATIONS

the cabins

Our individual cabins are set on the mid and higher part of the hill, featuring gorgeous lake views. These accommodation options are available in single or double occupancy.

Each cabin features a big private balcony and comfortable orthopedic mattresses for a relaxing stay.

Our cabins have beautiful garden bathrooms where living plants, natural materials, and a gorgeous view make you feel like you are taking a shower in sheer nature. All cabins have solar-powered showers. 

garden suites

Our stunning new garden suites boast two levels and two bathrooms, one on each floor. A spacious porch is located off the lower level and a huge balcony overlooking lush gardens and views of the lake can be accessed from the upper level. 

These suites sleep up to 6 people and are perfect for a family or group of friends.

The top-level features a large king-size bed and one single bed and the lower level contains 4 single beds.

HILL SUITES

We have two spacious suites set on the lower part of our hill, ideal for families and groups. 

Each suite features a spacious balcony with views of the lake, complete with private bathrooms.

Our Hill Suites are comfortable and cozy, showcasing beautiful local fabrics and decorations. These suites have one double bed and 4 single beds split between the main room and the mezzanine.
