How do you connect with your students as a yoga teacher?

Whether it’s through conversation before and after class, making eye contact with your students, or the music you play throughout, our favorite way to connect is through touch! Offering hands-on adjustments in your class is a powerful tool in a yoga teacher’s toolkit—one that can truly elevate the experience. The ability to inspire, correct, lengthen, or even deepen your students' postures and overall experience is not only a great responsibility but an art form that takes time to master.

Join Erica Chen, co-founder of House of Flow, for an opportunity to learn, re-learn, and refine the art of hands-on adjustments. In this 12-hour, three-part workshop series, you’ll practice with other teachers and explore a variety of vinyasa and Katonah yoga adjustments, learning how to integrate them seamlessly into your classes.

If you’re looking to set yourself apart as a yoga teacher and help your students gain deeper understanding and access in their yoga asanas—whether in group classes or private sessions—this workshop is for you! While the series is designed to be taken consecutively, as each session builds on the previous one, you’re also welcome to attend individual sessions if that suits your schedule.
